Literature Text

Rock-a-bye baby, under a rock
Hidden away from old Father Clock
When the ground breaks, the baby will cry
An arm for an arm and an eye for an eye
So shear all your sheep and say your goodbyes
With bitter repugnance and little white lies
We're going to grandma's to sell her our souls
And turn in our paycheck of blank porridge bowls
Now gather your bricks and your sticks and your straw
Your welcome is void and it comes to a draw
So ladies and gentlemen, don your wolf clothes
And please face the moon now in neat filed rows
The woodsman is coming with hardly a sound
And baby's still sleeping 6 feet in the ground
Wow, I have no idea where this came from. It's awfully dark, isn't it? It seems like I can write dark poetry much easier, which is weird, because I'm not a sad or angry person or anything at all o.o Oh well, I hope you enjoy it ^^;
